There are manydifferentsources of power for a clock, but this time we are going to talk about the pendulum, a classic source of power that is still used.
-A pendulum clock uses movement mechanism. These movement have five parts:
Power source: It can be: A weight on a cord or chain, or a mainspring
Gear trains: They step up the speed the clock must follow, so it can follow it.
Escapement: It keeps the pendulum swinging
Pendulum: it is the timekeeping element in the clock
Indicator: It indicates how often the ESCAPEMENT has rotated
